Reports in Italy insist Amadou Diawara’s entourage has not been contacted by Wolverhampton Wanderers, despite rumours of negotiations with Roma.
There have been some suggestions over the last few days that Wolves were in talks for a one-season loan deal, perhaps with an option to buy.
However, SiamoLaRoma maintain they spoke with Diawara’s entourage and no communication has been received about any negotiations with Wolves, let alone of an imminent deal.
The 24-year-old Guinea international has also been linked with Newcastle United, Sampdoria and Genoa after his transfer from Napoli to Roma for €21m in the summer of 2019.
Diawara made 28 competitive appearances in the Giallorossi jersey last season, contributing one goal.
