Udinese striker Antonio Di Natale says Mario Balotelli is 'impressive' enough that 'he will go to Euro 2016'.

The 38-year-old played the Euros of 2008 and 2012, and was alongside the Milan striker in the latter tournament.

“When he played against us [in September's Milan-Udinese, 3-2] he was impressive,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He's beyond discussion, he knows how to get things done.

“I think he'll end up going because he's strong, even though [Coach Antonio] Conte is right when he says that a couple of games aren't enough.

“The older players? [Torino's Fabio] Quagliarella isn't old, but out of the veterans I hope he's the one to make it, because he deserves it.

“As for the players in foreign leagues or the oriundi, it's our own fault, for not working well in the youth teams and not believing in our players.”

Finally, Di Natale discussed young players at his own team.

“There is greater competition at Udinese and it's no longer as easy as it was.

“At the Donatello school there's a Slovenian midfielder, Kevin Bric, born in 2001, who is the son of Igor.

“He seems incredibly strong to me and I think that he will shortly join a big team.”
