Aston Villa’s Roberto Di Matteo admits Fiorentina want Carlos Sanchez but says that no deal has been reached between the clubs.

The Colombian has been strongly linked with a loan move to the Viola, and speaking at a Press conference today the Italian manager acknowledged the interest from his homeland.

“Sanchez? Fiorentina are interested, we are aware of this but at this moment there is no agreement between the parties,” Di Matteo told reporters.

“He is an Aston Villa player and that will be the case until there is an agreement between the two clubs.”
