Former Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo is the latest name linked with the Napoli job should Walter Mazzarri move on.
Mazzarri’s contract is up next month and he has refused to discuss his future until the end of the season, so speculation is rife about potential replacements.
According to the London Evening Standard, this includes Di Matteo, who would be making his first foray into Serie A management.
Di Matteo won the Champions League last season after taking over as interim manager from Andre Villas-Boas, but was still sacked just a few months into the current campaign.
Ironically, his replacement at Chelsea – Rafa Benitez – has also been mentioned as a possible candidate for Napoli.
