According to Romeo Agresti, Juventus have decided that they won’t extend Angel Di Maria’s contract, so the Argentinean’s entourage is already evaluating other possible destinations.

El Fideo signed a one-year contract last summer, moving to Turin on a free transfer from PSG.

The 35-year-old has had highs and lows during his time at the Allianz Stadium, managing eight goals and seven assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.

According to Juventus pundit Romeo Agresti, the Bianconeri won’t extend the winger’s contract beyond the summer, meaning Di Maria will leave in June.

Club directors have based their decision on Di Maria’s age and wages, circa €7m per season, and his inconsistent performances this term.

Juventus will start a new course in 2023-24, chasing young players with a lower salary given that they are not expected to play Champions League football following a recent 10-point deduction in Serie A and a further penalty that may hit them in June.

According to the report, Di Maria’s entourage is already assessing the Argentinean’s options.

Juventus have two more games left to play this season, against Milan at home and with Udinese at the Dacia Arena. Those will be Di Maria’s last games in a Juventus shirt.
