Angel Di Maria had a smile when talking about Roma and confirmed that he’s ‘reflecting’ on a possible transfer to Juventus.

The 34-year-old Argentinian forward is leaving Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer next week and he’s keen to stay in Europe for another year before returning to his native country. Di Maria was heavily linked with a move to the Bianconeri but things have stalled in recent weeks, with little progress being made.

At one point, during an interview with ESPN, the host pulled out a Roma shirt. Di Maria smiled and replied: “No, I’m not interested in this one!” He was then given a Juventus shirt, and he then commented on his possible move to the club.

“They’re the biggest club in Italy, one of the teams interested in me. At the moment I am reflecting, concentrating on holidays and family.”

The 34-year-old Di Maria made 31 appearances across all competitions last season for PSG, for a total of 1914 minutes. In that time, he scored five goals and provided nine assists, continuing to impress despite being given limited minutes.

  1. Joker!!!!!
    Keep on reflecting
    Don’t blame him though
Juve has lost its appeal and swagger to attract top players of recent. And with a coach that plays slow motion football,it’s better to think before you leap.

  2. his agent hasnt told him that juve have oficially gave up on him

roma wont be able to pay for his wages – he will have to lower than to around 50k euros a week to join roma

  3. How dare you. PhD Max is a 2 time runner up winner of CL finals. Di Maria’s loss is on him. To not want to learn the reverse back, back, down, down shows how limited he is. An old never learns tricks, but in this case Sun Tzu could have enlightened him on the art of defending for a full 90 mins.
