Angel Di Maria could sign his contract with Juventus on Wednesday, according to reports in Argentina.

The right-sided forward had taken weeks to consider his decision after leaving Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent, considering offers from Barcelona as well as the Bianconeri.

Negotiations stepped up rapidly over the last few days and they are working out the final details on a one-year contract, worth circa €7.5m per season plus performance-related bonuses.

According to Relevo in Argentina, Di Maria is set to put pen to paper on the contract with Juventus on Wednesday.

He remains on vacation in Spain, so it is possible he has had a medical already in secret.

The 34-year-old has 122 senior caps for Argentina, in which he scored 25 goals and won the Copa America last summer.

Di Maria started his career at Rosario Central, moving to Europe for Benfica in 2007, then through Real Madrid, Manchester United and since 2015 PSG.

  1. @Gman, You’re clearly clueless and hypocrite. Chiesa-Vlahovic-Di Maria are very good attacking side. I expect 25-30 goals of Vlahovic with Di Maria’s service from the right. While you can sit on your corner and expecting for bad luck happens to Juventus next season. What a true fan you are! 👏👏

  2. Better would happen some accident than tomorow to come, I not see what this guy have to play alongside Chiesa and DV7, what, how, why who where, what he is going to do there with these young lads? Why he is going to rob juventus money just because board is silly, why he is going there what does he see attractive there in our team if he didnt saw nothing earlier what he could see now????
