Giovanni Di Lorenzo’s agent has revealed that the Empoli right-back could join Napoli as early as Friday.
Napoli have agreed a deal worth a reported €10m for Di Lorenzo, and Mario Giuffredi confirmed the 25-year-old would have his medical tomorrow.
“There’s still a few days left and anything can happen in the market as there are so many teams after him,” he told Radio Marte.

“[Empoli President Fabrizio] Corsi has taken a couple of days to reflect and he’ll reply by tomorrow night.
“Di Lorenzo will have a medical and, if the Empoli President gives the go-ahead, he will sign on Friday.
“Di Lorenzo was in the sights of the best Serie A teams and was also coveted abroad.
“He’s already been to the city and they received him well. I’ll talk to Corsi tomorrow. In the meantime, the player will have his medical in the morning.”
