The team came together at the Coverciano training ground on Friday and immediately tested out two different tactical systems, the 4-2-3-1 and 3-4-2-1.
Coach Luciano Spalletti held today’s session behind closed doors, but it included some exercises with the Empoli youth team players and a game between ranks.
Di Lorenzo took part in the morning session, then was given permission to leave Coverciano for family reasons.
Italy preparations for EURO 2024
