Mihajlovic was serving a one-match ban and watched the Dall’Ara tie from the stands.

“The coach had asked the team to be more practical because we hadn’t scored in the previous games despite creating a few goal-scoring opportunities,” Di Leo told DAZN.

“Today, we were more clinical, and we are satisfied. We have a young squad with outstanding quality, the players are improving, and we are very happy.

“We are still missing a few points to gain survival, we’ll set ourselves new targets in the last games of the season,” the coach added.

“Mihajlovic complimented the team because we were able to pick up all three points, without suffering too much.

“The team is improving and the Mister is satisfied.”
