Lecce Coach Eusebio Di Francesco and captain Guillermo Giacomazzi can't quite believe they fumbled a 3-0 lead to lose against Milan.

“It's difficult to talk about a game like this, despite the fact Milan are a great side,” said the tactician.

Lecce Coach Eusebio Di Francesco and captain Guillermo Giacomazzi can't quite believe they fumbled a 3-0 lead to lose against Milan.

“It's difficult to talk about a game like this, despite the fact Milan are a great side,” said the tactician.

“I didn't expect a second half performance like that, as I hoped we'd continue to be aggressive and battling.

“We allowed too much and were disastrous, especially from set plays.”

Lecce were 3-0 up at half-time and appeared to have the win in hand, but incredibly fell 4-3 to a Kevin-Prince Boateng hat-trick in 14 minutes and Mario Yepes header.

“In the second half we didn't have the same grit as the first and felt the sting of Boateng getting such an early goal,” explained Giacomazzi.

“We did not underestimate Milan, it's just that they changed their approach with Boateng knowing how to open up space to strike.

“We made many mistakes and against the Rossoneri you will pay for them.”
