“In the second half we didn’t control the ball as well as we should’ve done, but we wanted to get into the history books and beat Juventus for the first time. We achieved it and now we are in history,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.
“In the first half we did really well, playing with intensity and closing down all the Juve players. It’s never easy to beat Juventus and we had to work hard for this result.”
Sassuolo are now in joint fifth place with Lazio, so what can they achieve this season?
“We mustn’t stop now. The fact we made many changes to the line-up shows we have a squad capable of handling the campaign.”
