Eusebio Di Francesco has praised Sassuolo’s opponents Genoa ahead of the sides’ Serie A match on Sunday.
The Neroverdi come into the encounter on the back of a famous 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League, while the Rossoblu have two wins out of two this season.
Speaking at his pre-match Press conference, the 47-year-old also spoke highly of counterpart Ivan Juric.

Speaking at his pre-match Press conference, the 47-year-old also spoke highly of counterpart Ivan Juric.
“He [Juric] has been very good to give continuity to what Gasperini did,” Di Francesco began. “It is a team that can give anyone problems because they have physicality.”
The Coach then talked up his own team, recounting Thursday’s European victory.
“We have won five matches out of eight. We have only lost one, against a team made up more or less of aliens!
“On Thursday evening I had great assurances, both from those who took to the field and also from those who didn’t play. There was a great participation from everyone.
“There hasn’t been a lot of time [to prepare for Genoa] but I have seen a lot of attention paid to do what I have asked.
“You never prepare a match the day before, but immediately after the game just played. After Athletic I was already thinking about this match.
“The first thing I said to the boys was to prepare themselves as well as they could and recuperate physical energy, because a tough game awaits us.”
