Cagliari have announced the termination of their contract with Eusebio Di Francesco, so he is now free to sign for Hellas Verona.

The tactician was sacked on February 22 after a dismal run of results that had them bottom of the table.

They did eventually secure safety by completely changing tack under Leonardo Semplici.

Di Francesco was still under contract, but that was today terminated by mutual consent, along with the deals for his staff, Francesco Calzona, Stefano Romano, Giancarlo Marini and Gianmaria Palumbo.

Verona have already agreed terms with Di Francesco for a two-year contract.

Hellas coach Ivan Juric left to take over at Torino.
