Inter President Steven Zhang met the players today, asking them to give up on two months wages.

According to reports in Italy, the club would save €25m gross if all the players accept to take a pay cut to help Inter financially.

Former Serie A and West Ham striker Paolo Di Canio said he would accept the offer from the club.

“I would surely take a pay cut if the club is struggling, it’s fair to help,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“Footballers are privileged and earn a lot of money. It is a pity to take a pay cut when you win the title, but I would accept it. Common sense is needed,” the ex-striker concluded.
