A Christian Pulisic goal put the Blues ahead in the first half, minutes after Werner had missed an open goal.
“The attitude was wrong, it’s not a finish you expect from an important player,” Di Canio told Sky Sport Italia.

“The attitude was wrong, it’s not a finish you expect from an important player,” Di Canio told Sky Sport Italia.
“It seemed he was playing a game with his friends,” he added.
“Sometimes his teammates could have served him a little better, but his movements were not convincing and often he was not in the right position. Werner is very fast, but he is too frenetic too.”
The second leg is scheduled for Wednesday, May 5, at Stamford Bridge.
