The Azzurini host Montenegro in a friendly match at Castel di Sangro on Wednesday evening, and the tactician has admitted that a win is not the most important thing – but a nice habit to get in to.
“I want the boys to give me the gift of a good performance,” he told a Press conference. “Maybe even a victory.
“I wanted to face Montenegro because they play a very similar style to Serbia [who they face in European Championship qualification].
“There aren’t really any friendlies in international football, but these occasions are useful to experiment a bit.”
