SPAL have lost six consecutive games in Serie A, and Di Biagio says it is too early to shape the team as he would like.

“I can confirm a four-man defence, for the rest of the side you will see tomorrow. I still have some doubts about a few players and the tactical situation,” said Di Biagio in his press conference.

“I have seen significant growth since arriving. I am very satisfied. The lads want revenge and have great responsibility.

“We have to find more self-esteem and attack whilst maintaining balance. I’ve also made some changes in the defensive area, which we will see tomorrow.”

Lecce are in a good run of form, and beat Napoli 3-2 at the Stadio San Paolo last weekend.

“They are the most fit team in the league. They play good football with specific characteristics.

“We are going to go up against a team that are very good physically and psychologically, thanks to the coach who is a friend of mine.

“There is great enthusiasm because they believe they can secure safety from relegation tomorrow.”
