Thomas Di Benedetto has revealed his plans to develop Roma's brand internationally, as well as the latest on a projected new stadium.

The newly-inaugurated Giallorossi President was speaking in London at the Leaders in Football conference that has been held this week, and reflected on his plans to take his new club global.

"It is a great opportunity for me and my group, purchasing Roma, because there is the possibility of increasing a brand that is still not very well developed at the global level.

"However, we have to start by focusing technically, which is crucial for the team. That is why we have chosen [Franco] Baldini, [Walter] Sabatini and Luis Enrique.

"Baldini is an excellent manager, Sabatini a great talent scout. Luis Enrique wants to import a style of play like Barcelona."

Di Benedetto also took questions on UEFA's Financial Fair Play policy, the club's plans to link up with the American market and short-term plans to develop the Stadio Olimpico.

"We are in favour of Financial Fair Play. The U.S. market is a great opportunity. We are working to close agreements with major U.S. teams. We have agreements with youth teams in five states.

"For now, sharing the Stadio Olimpico with Lazio” data-scaytid=”17″>Lazio is not a problem. The same thing happens in America too. The New York Gianta and Jets share a stadium and it works. On October 16 there will be the derby.

"However, we are studying some hypotheses that can improve the stadium both in terms of technology and marketing."
