Gerard Deulofeu’s strong season with Udinese has attracted the attention of West Ham, who have opened talks for the Spaniard.

The 27-year-old forward is performing well for Gabriele Cioffi’s side in Udine, netting eight goals and providing two assists in 23 Serie A appearances this season. He has consistently managed to impress for the Bianconeri, proving to be an exciting and electric attacking figure.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, West Ham have been in contact regarding Deulofeu, keen to bring him back to England at the end of this season. The Spaniard previously made 127 Premier League appearances for Everton and Watford, often struggling with inconsistency.

Rumours have also suggested that Milan are interested in being reunited with Deulofeu, remembering him well from his brief loan spell at the club in 2017.

The 27-year-old Spanish forward is contracted to Udinese until 2024 and has an estimated market value of around €10m. He is also likely to be keen at the idea of a Premier League return.
