Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu has opened for a return to Milan. ‘I spent six fantastic months there’.

The Hornets were relegated from the Premier League in 2019-20 and Deulofeu admits he is looking to find a new club this summer.

The former Barcelona winger says Milan are ‘an option’ but reveals he has options in Spain and England.

“Milan are an option for the future. I spent six fantastic months there,” he told El Transistor. “That’s where my daughter was born.

“Milan are an option for the future. I spent six fantastic months there,” he told El Transistor. “That’s where my daughter was born.

“There are other options in Spain and in the Premier League too, but the priority is to find an agreement to leave Watford.”

Deulofeu ruptured his ACL in February and reveals it has been ‘a disastrous’ season for him.

“I’m much better, I have improved little by little,” he said. “I want to return soon but without risking anything.

“I really miss the pitch, but I don’t want to rush anything. On a personal level, it has been a disastrous season.

“This summer it’s likely that I leave Watford to go to another club.”
