Emil Audero reportedly snubbed a transfer to Nottingham Forest on the deadline day, with the Premier League side open to paying €10m to secure his signature.
Calciomercato.com reports the Italy international snubbed a transfer to Forest in January as he wants to help the Blucerchiati avoid relegation this season.
Forest reportedly offered €10m to sign the 26-year-old on the deadline day. According to the report, the proposed formula was a €1m loan deal until the end of the season with an obligation to buy for €9m in July 2023.
Audero would have seen his salary raise at the City Ground, and his contract reportedly included three different performance-related bonuses worth €800,000 each.
The 26-year-old is a product of Juventus academy and has played 163 games at Marassi.
The Blucerchiati are experiencing their worst-ever Serie A campaign with only nine pints in 20 Serie A matches and could receive a points penalty if the club fail to pay salaries for the last quarter of 2022 by February 16.
