Luiz Felipe is reportedly set to leave Lazio on a free transfer in the summer in order to join La Liga side Real Betis.

The 24-year-old Brazilian defender’s contract expires with the Biancocelesti at the end of this season and he has not agreed a renewal with the club, unhappy with president Claudio Lotito’s latest offer.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Luiz Felipe has agreed to join Real Betis on a free transfer in the summer, agreeing in principle to a four-year contract worth €3m net per season, plus add-ons. Inter are also keen to sign the player, so they may need to raise their offer if they want to secure his signature before the Spanish side finalise a deal.

Lazio are hoping to replace Luiz Felipe with Alessio Romagnoli, whose contract expires with Milan at the end of this season. Due to the Brazilian defender’s apparent agreement with Real Betis, the Biancocelesti are working to close out an agreement with the Italian defender soon, wanting to beat Juventus to the punch.

  1. Just go there and get your money. But don´t come back to Lazio, we´ll have some who loves the shirt, so GOOOODBYE! Romagnoli is Lazio fan, but I don´t believe he comes. Although I would take him right away to Lazio.
