Milan have lodged a bid with Porto for striker Mehdi Taremi, although there has been some confusion over the financial value of the Rossoneri’s offer.

Multiple outlets have reported varying figures over the course of the last 24 hours, but most are beginning to agree that Milan have offered a fee in the region of €15m including bonuses.

Calciomercato.com reports that an agreement in principle on personal terms has already been reached between Milan and Taremi. That includes both the salary and contract length, which is believed to be for a period of three years.

Taremi, aged 31, has entered the final year of his contract in Portugal and it is now up to his current employers to decide whether to let him go for a cut-down price, or risk losing him for free next summer.

Whilst an agreement has not yet been found between the two clubs, Calciomercato’s sources claims that there is cautious optimism coming from the Milan camp and that a deal is still very much a possibility.
