Udinese left-back Destiny Udogie will be in London on Monday to undergo a medical and complete his transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, as the full details of the deal emerge.

Sky Sport Italia report he will fly to London on Monday and have the medical tests on Tuesday.

It cannot be before then, because Udinese’s Serie A season begins against Milan on Saturday.

The Italy Under-21 international, born in Verona to Nigerian parents, will make the move for approximately €25m including add-ons.

Calciomercato.com claim they will be split into €18m guaranteed, €2m in easy-to-achieve bonuses and another €5m that will be trickier to activate.

Above all, Udinese will be able to keep Udogie on loan for the rest of this season in order to help not only the club, but also the player’s development with regular time on the field in Serie A.

Juventus, Inter, Lazio and Manchester City had also shown an interest, but Tottenham came in with the best proposal and were willing to leave Udogie in Italy on loan.
