Roma striker Mattia Destro is out for up to three weeks, while Bologna lost both Robert Acquafresca and Henry Gimenez.

Destro missed out on Sunday’s 4-2 win at Genoa due to a muscular problem and tests today showed his condition is worse than previously feared.

The former Siena hitman has been diagnosed with an extended soleus muscle in his right leg, which could require anything from one to three weeks in order to heal.

Destro will undergo further tests and a specialist consultation over the next few days.

Meanwhile, Bologna have lost both Acquafresca and Gimenez for an extended period due to injuries.

Centre-forward Acquafresca has suffered a right thigh strain that rules him out for a month, while midfielder Gimenez has torn the soleus muscle in his right leg and is out for three to four weeks.
