“I didn't expect such a warm welcome,” he confessed. “I'm very happy to be here!”

Bologna also welcomed Serie B assist-man Filippo Falco from Lecce.

“It's a dream to be wearing such important colours,” he declared.

“I can play as an offensive midfielder and as a striker.”
