Despite Man Utd rumours, Dybala ‘never liked Premier League’

The director who took Paulo Dybala to Italy reveals intriguing clues on his future amid Manchester United rumours. ‘He never liked the Premier League, I can see him at Inter.’

Giorgio Perinetti was the Palermo director of sport when scouting a teenage Dybala in Argentina in 2012 and transforming him into a superstar.

Now La Joya is leaving Juventus as a free agent on June 30 and there are several options on the table.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, incoming Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag would find a way to balance Dybala with Cristiano Ronaldo, following on from the not entirely successful partnership their had at Juventus until this term.

However, Perinetti has a very different view of the situation which would also affect other transfer reports around the 28-year-old.

“Dybala has never liked the Premier League, he doesn’t think it is suited to his characteristics,” Perinetti told Tuttomercatoweb.

“If Inter were to replace Lautaro Martinez, then La Joya could certainly be of interest to the Nerazzurri.”

That would also rule out Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, along with Arsenal or Liverpool as candidates for Dybala’s signature too.

If he does leave Italy, the Argentina international is tipped for PSG, Atletico Madrid or Real Madrid.
