Stefano Pioli has only one doubt ahead of today’s derby della Madonnina, while Simone Inzaghi must find a replacement for Romelu Lukaku.

It kicks off at 17.00 UK time at the Stadio Meazza.

Charles De Ketelaere returns from minute one for the Rossoneri. Alessandro Florenzi, Rade Krunic, Ante Rebic and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are injured. Divock Origi is back but not fit to start. Junior Messias favourite over Saelemaekers, it’s the only doubt for Pioli.

Milan won the last Serie A derby in February and could win two in a row for the first time since 2011. However, they lost the last Coppa Italia derby in April.

The Rossoneri didn’t score in the last two Coppa Italia games, the most recent meetings with Inter. The last time they didn’t find the net in three successive derbies was in 1980.

Milan won the last five home games (they are at home today on paper) and haven’t won six successive home games since 2014.

Dzeko and Lautaro are likely to start in Inter’s attack, with the ex-Roma forward replacing the injured Lukaku. However, Joaquin Correa is in good shape. Milan are also his favourite victim in Serie A (four goals scored against the Rossoneri) and the Argentinean has found the net in four of the last five Serie A games after 18 matches without goals.

Other doubts for Inzaghi are Alessandro Bastoni (not 100% fit) or Federico Dimarco. The latter could also start on the left in place of Matteo Darmian or Robin Gosens, but he’s not favourite.

Inzaghi has never won a Serie A derby since becoming Inter coach.

Lautaro Martinez has contributed to at least one goal in each of the opening four Serie A games. Only Ibra and Nicolò Barella have contributed to a goal in the first five games of the season in Inter’s history.

Inter are the only Serie A team (excluding relegated and newly-promoted) with no draws since April.

Milan-Inter: probable line-ups
