Merih Demiral skipped training with Juventus today and the Turkey international seems set for his medical with Atalanta.

Football Italia understands Romero is close completing a move to Atalanta, and the defender can carry out his medical examinations with La Dea today.

Atalanta have, according to Calciomercato.com, reached an agreement with Juventus over a €3-4m paid loan with an option to buy for €28m.

Cristian Romero seems set to for a move to Tottenham Hotspur and Atalanta are now making a move for the former Sassuolo defender.

The 23-year-old, who joined Juventus in July 2019, didn’t turn up to train with the rest of the group today and fuelled the rumours of a switch to the Gewiss Stadium this summer.

Demiral has played 32 competitive games during his two seasons with the Bianconeri, scoring once in the Juventus shirt.

The youngster, capped 24 times by Turkey, moved to the Neroverdi on loan in January 2019 and Sassuolo signed him on a permanent deal only a few days before his switch to Juventus the following summer.
