Juventus and Italy legend Alessandro Del Piero had a courtside ticket to watch the last game of the Los Angeles Lakers with his son and joked with LeBron James on Instagram: ‘When you are tired, we can sub in!’
The ex Bianconeri’s No.10 has been living in the USA for a few years and was at the Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday to watch the Los Angeles Lakers against Mavericks. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a good game for LeBron James and his teammates who lost 104 to 109.
Del Piero took a selfie with his son once LeBron was close to them during the action. The 2006 World Cup winner added a caption, tagging the NBA star: “When you’re tired we can sub in!”
Del Piero received thousands of likes and comments and the most memorable one was probably coming from his wife: ‘Does the guy wearing the yellow shirt even know who you are?’
