Sassuolo have agreed a deal to bring back Roma striker Gregoire Defrel on loan with obligation to buy.

Now, Gianluca Di Marzio and Calciomercato.com are reporting an agreement has been reached for the Frenchman to return.

Di Marzio writes it is a season-long loan with obligation to buy for a combined €16m, whereas CM tips the Neroverdi to pay €3m up front and €12m plus bonuses next summer.
The 28-year-old scored 23 goals in two seasons at Mapei Stadium between 2015 and 2017, prior to joining Roma for €20m.
