Inter have reportedly entered “decisive hours” in their negotiations for Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero, although the fee remains a stumbling block.

According to Calciomercato.com, Suning Group technical coordinator Walter Sabatini is in Milan, along with Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio, to thrash out a deal.

However, their proposal of €5m up front plus bonuses does not satisfy Fiorentina, who are holding out for €8-9m.
