Bayern Munich are still on the hunt for a new head coach and Brighton’s Roberto De Zerbi remains a candidate ahead of the summer.

The Bavarian giants are in a state of flux heading into the summer, still needing to find a new coach to replace Thomas Tuchel, who’ll be departing at the end of the season. Their search has not proven simple, with a long list of candidates rejecting the idea.

De Zerbi has been floated as an option for Bayern over the last few months and has also attracted attention from Serie A, with Milan in particular seeming a possible destination for the Brighton coach.

Max Eberl, the Bundesliga giants’ sporting director, is a huge fan of the Italian coach and still considers him an interesting option, but no new steps have been taken recently. He is still a candidate, but much depends on what happens in the coming weeks.
