Sassuolo Coach Roberto De Zerbi concedes that if you “don’t take your opportunities, Juventus make you pay”, after their 3-0 defeat.

Goals from Sami Khedira, Cristiano Ronaldo and Emre Can secured the three points for the Bianconeri.

However, De Zerbi was left to rue their inability to take their early chances, as he conceded that it made life difficult for them.

“We could have done better with the early opportunities, maybe we would have still lost but the feeling would have been different,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“If you don’t take those kind of opportunities, Juventus make you pay. Everything became more difficult after that but I’m happy with the display.”

Meanwhile, he also commented on Manuel Locatelli after the game, with the 21-year-old playing a key role in midfield.

“In three years, he will be playing at the top level,” he added. “I’m happy, but I always expect more from him.”
