Stefan de Vrij is the latest Inter player to be linked with a summer exit, as it’s reported he has rejected the offer to extend his contract with a lower salary.
The 30-year-old is only under contract until June 2023 and is one of the players who was under the guidance of agent Mino Raiola, who died earlier this year.
De Vrij joined Inter as a free agent in the summer of 2018 after failing to agree terms over an extension at Lazio.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Nerazzurri offered him a new deal to June 2024, but with a significantly lower salary package compared to the one he is on now.
The player is not happy with the idea and this suggests Inter are ready to sell the Dutch international for circa €10m.
He made 41 competitive appearances for Inter this season, contributing one goal and one assist.
De Vrij has 55 senior caps at international level with the Netherlands and has played in Italy since 2014.

Only 10million? Still a year to go on contract, should be sold for more. He would be a big upgrade for say Man U or Barca. I like De Vrij but he is 30 and starting to make bad errors, so now is the time to sell him (and buy Bremer)
