Stefan de Vrij said Inter will focus first and foremost on Juventus before gearing up for the Champions League decider with PSV Eindhoven.
The Derby d’Italia kicks off on Friday at 19.30 GMT.
“We are on the right track. Even if we lost against Tottenham and drew with Roma, we saw improvements within the team,” the defender told Inter TV.
“We took the lead twice against Roma and unfortunately weren’t able to kill the game off. Roma played well too, it was a balanced encounter, but we really wanted to win it.

“It is going to be very important against Juventus, also for our position in the table. It’ll be tough, because Juve are strong, but so are we. We’ll take them on with full confidence in our own capabilities.”
After that, it’s back to the Champions League, where even a victory over PSV Eindhoven might not be enough to secure passage into the Round of 16.
If Tottenham Hotspur beat Barcelona at Camp Nou, then Inter’s result becomes irrelevant.
“They are both extremely important, but right now we clearly have to concentrate on Juventus.”
