According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus full-back Mattia De Sciglio is in advanced negotiations with Lyon, which would create room for Federico Chiesa.

The former Milan defender has long been on the exit list, but could never agree terms for a transfer.

He had even been close to PSG last summer and again in January.

It’s reported De Sciglio will join Olympique Lyonnais on loan, with the French club covering his salary.

That alone will be enough to make room in the squad for Juve’s next purchase, Fiorentina winger Chiesa.

That deal would be a paid loan for €10m – similar to the system Milan used for Sandro Tonali with Brescia – and obligation to buy for another €50m spread out over four years.
