Daniele De Rossi revealed “tension” between Luciano Spalletti and Francesco Totti in the Roma dressing room as he could see himself retiring in the United States.
Speaking at an Italy Press conference for Euro 2016, De Rossi was asked about relations between Spalletti and Totti in light of their feud two months ago and whether he could see himself playing for a Serie A club other than Roma.
“The affair between Totti and Spalletti? It’s always unpleasant to see tensions inside a dressing room,” the midfielder remarked.

“The affair between Totti and Spalletti? It’s always unpleasant to see tensions inside a dressing room,” the midfielder remarked.
“Spalletti is one of Roma’s best Coaches and Totti is one of the best players at Roma and in the city, so it created a catastrophe.
“It’s a fact [that they fell out], but it should no longer be of interest to you [the media].
“Roma are well stocked, although I’m not sure that I have to tell the club to focus on young players.
“A few nights ago, Roma Primavera beat Inter on penalties. The results are there for all to see. We can close the gap on Juventus, even with young players.
“My future? I don’t see myself at an Italian team other than Roma. I can see myself more in a place like the United States.
“My role? At my age, I’m used to playing wherever the Coach puts me.”
