Roma have announced Alberto De Rossi has renewed his contract with the club and remains in charge of the youth side.
“For me it’s an honour to coach my favourite team,” the 63-year-old told the club’s official website.
De Rossi har signed a one-year deal to stay on as the coach of Roma’s Primavera side for another season.
De Rossi, the father of Daniele, has been with the Giallorossi for 28 years and continues to work at Trigoria, where he has won three Scudetti, two Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana with the Primavera.
“We are educators, first of all,” he said. “We must turn them into men before players.”
