Daniele De Rossi is keeping everyone guessing ahead of Roma’s trip to Juventus, with suggestions he could drop Paulo Dybala and Leandro Paredes for two young players, starting Alexis Saelemaekers.

It kicks off at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

Juventus vs Roma – how to watch on TV

Juventus-Roma is on Paramount+ in the USA. Fans in the UK and Ireland can watch it on TNT Sports or OneFootball for £4.99. beIN SPORTS 1 or beIN SPORTS CONNECT are your places to go if you want to watch the game from Australia or New Zealand.

The Giallorossi are in dire need of a result after one point from their opening two Serie A games, drawing away to Cagliari and suffering a shock home defeat with Empoli.

It had already been suggested that new signing Saelemaekers could make his debut in a 3-5-2 formation, leaving Dybala upfront with Artem Dovbyk and Matias Soulé on the bench.

However, the Corriere dello Sport is now reporting that Dybala and Leandro Paredes could be left out in favour of Soulé and 19-year-old Niccolò Pisilli.

He has only two Serie A appearances in his career, for a grand total of 10 minutes on the pitch, although he did play 17 minutes and scored a goal in the Europa League win over FC Sheriff in December 2023.

In this case, it would still be a 4-3-3 formation with Saelemaekers and Soulé flanking Dovbyk.

Roma probable line-up

(3-5-2):  Svilar; Mancini, Ndicka, Angelino; Celik, Cristante, Paredes, Pellegrini, Saelemaekers; Dybala, Dovbyk

Or

(4-3-3):  Svilar; Celik, Mancini, Ndicka, Angelino; Cristante, Pisilli, Pellegrini; Soulé, Dovbyk, Saelemaekers
