Daniele De Rossi has earned 15 points in his opening six Serie A games as the Roma coach, while José Mourinho gained just eight against the same opponents.
De Rossi replaced Mourinho in January, signing a contract until the end of the season.
The former Giallorossi midfielder is still pretty inexperienced, especially compared to the Portuguese tactician, but has immediately secured convincing results at the Stadio Olimpico.
De Rossi won five games from six in Serie A, only losing against table leaders Inter. Therefore, he earned 15 points in his first league games for the Giallorossi, beating Torino, Frosinone, Cagliari, Salernitana and Hellas Verona.
Most are not top-tier teams, but De Rossi’s predecessor, Mourinho, had only earned eight points against the same opponents in the first part of the campaign. He beat Cagliari and Frosinone, drew against Torino and Salernitana and lost to Hellas Verona and Inter.
Mourinho’s Roma conceded seven goals against those six opponents, one fewer than De Rossi (8), but Roma scored 10 during Mou’s tenure goals against DDR’s 16.
