Atalanta are close to bringing Marten de Roon back to Bergamo just a year after he left for Middlesbrough.
The 26-year-old midfielder arrived at the Stadio Azzurri d’Italia for €1.3m in the summer of 2015 and was sold on to Boro last season for €10.5m.
According to Gazzamercato, the Dutch international has already agreed to pen a four-year contract with the Serie A side.
However, Middlesbrough want to make back at least as much as they paid only 12 months ago.
