The Argentine playmaker has been a revelation at the Dacia Arena and his performances at the club has led to rumours of a move to one of the giants in Serie A.

But the 26-year-old, who has been an ever-present in the Udinese team this term, said he will never force his way out the door.

“I will never ask Udinese to sell me or start slamming the door,” he told SportItalia. “I’m happy here, they raised me and I’m not going to leave them.”

De Paul has forced himself into contention at the national team and he admitted he missed Juventus forward Dybala at the last retreat in Argentina.

“I missed [Paulo] Dybala in the national team in these two matches, he’s a true friend and a great champion,” De Paul added.

“I’m sorry for the moment he’s going through, but I’m sure he will soon be the same again.”

About the death of Argentine legend Diego Maradona, De Paul added: “We all miss Diego, Argentina owes him so much for the social redemption he has allowed to the whole nation.”
