De Laurentiis confirmed that the 32-year-old will undergo his medical tomorrow, as well as commenting on the arrival of Mirko Valdifiori from Empoli.
“Reina has an appointment with us for a medical and if there aren’t any problems he will sign a contract with Napoli,” said the Napoli President in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss.
“I always wanted a playmaker in the squad but we’ve never been able to have one.
“Valdifiori has all the characteristics to succeed because he arrives at Napoli having paid his dues and made sacrifices for a long time.
“He was the best midfielder in the league last season and I hope he plays for a long time, like Pirlo.”
