Milan are still working hard to try and finalise a deal with Club Brugge for Charles De Ketelaere and the player’s mother is clearly confident, already searching for a house in the city.

The 21-year-old Belgian forward wasn’t called up for Club Brugge’s first game of the season, all but confirming that a departure is imminent now. The two clubs are now in talks to try and close the €5-6m gap between offer and request, something which may ultimately prove impossible.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio in Corriere della Sera, De Ketelaere’s mother is confident that a move to Milan will come off and she’s already visited the city to start house hunting for her son. He’s incredibly excited about the prospect of joining the Rossoneri and is anxiously awaiting the results of the talks.

The 21-year-old De Ketelaere is one of the most exciting youngsters in Europe and he proved that last season with Club Brugge, scoring 14 goals and providing seven assists in 33 league appearances.

  1. He can house hunt all he wants. Better if he rents my 1 bedroom apartment in Basiglio. He can also spend summers in my caravan in Bowhay Hutton. After all both my parents are surgeons.
