According to multiple reports, Milan are the favourite destination of Charles De Ketelaere whose agents are in Italy to negotiate with the Rossoneri.

The Serie A giants are looking for new signings to bolster Stefano Pioli’s options in the final third and De Ketelaere is on top of their shopping list.

Milan have already made a €20m bid, but Club Burgge have warned the Serie A champions that they expect them to – at least – match Leeds’ €30m offer.

Meantime, the 21-year-old’s agents have landed in Milan and, according to Gazzetta, they will soon meet the Rossoneri. De Ketelaere prefers a move to the Stadio Meazza and the Rossoneri hope he won’t change his stance in the coming weeks, given that Premier League sides have more economic power to persuade the Belgian.

As per Sportmediaset, De Ketelaere has already spoken with his compatriots Alexis Saelemaekers and Divock Origi. The latter has just joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer from Liverpool.

  1. Move on. As talented as he may be we don’t want another RDP situation taking up all of the time and we miss out on other options. Yes by all means carry on if Leeds think they have a sniff but don’t put all the eggs in one basket and end up with nothing

  2. @rnnn, yes but that’s what bankruptcies are about, discharging liabilities and restructuring. Don’t know the details, but a transfer in ownership could also have been part of the bankruptcy. More importantly, a few years ago Leeds were not in the EPL, which they are in now and benefiting from the profits. Most importantly, Leeds sold Kalvin Phillips for about 53m, and they’re about to sell Raphinha for about the same, so they have money to spend regardless.

  3. I think Leao, De Katelere and Ziyech behind Giroud/Origi or IBRA sounds AWESOME! Origi can also play as a winger. You also have Rebic, Messias and Salemakers. Pioli is a very creative coach. I can see all these players making contributions during a busy season with Champions League and cuppa games. Bring it on! And did I mention Dias. Imagine if this was his breakout season.
