Charles De Ketelaere praises Gian Piero Gasperini after scoring his first Serie A goal for La Dea: ‘I like his playing style.’
The Belgian starlet scored on his Atalanta debut in La Dea’s 2-0 win over Sassuolo on Sunday.
“I’ve been waiting for feelings like this for a long time, I wanted to score and I am happy it helped the team win the game,” he said, as quoted by Il Corriere della Sera.
CDK has joined Atalanta on loan with an option to buy from Milan, where he had not scored in 40 appearances across all competitions last term.
“I spoke to the coach about my playing style and tried to do what he wanted,” the Belgian continued.
“I like Gasperini’s playing style and it’s one of the reasons why I came here. Atalanta are a great team and I want to do well. This is a great opportunity for me and I want to do well.”
