Fiorentina have been in contact with David de Gea to sound out a possible move and the former Manchester United goalkeeper has made his requests.

The 33-year-old Spanish shot stopper has not played a single minute of football for the last 14 months, having stepped back from football after leaving the Red Devils on a free transfer at the end of June 2023.

Fiorentina are looking to replace Pietro Terracciano in Raffaele Palladino’s revamped squad and have accepted an offer from Monza for the goalkeeper, allowing them to focus on bringing in a new shot stopper.
