De Canio took over from Stefano Colantuono last month on the Zebrette bench, but only signed a deal until the end of the season.
“Pioli next Udinese Coach? They are theories,” he told Telefriuli.
“Pioli is a great Coach, Udinese is a desirable club. Not to say Pioli should come; At the moment Udinese have a Coach!”
